CQP — Holster, Draw & Close-Quarters Carrycraft
This 3–4 hour specialty class is devoted entirely to carrying and drawing a defensive pistol safely and effectively. Whether students carry concealed or open, this clinic teaches repeatable draws, holster selection and fit, retention and emergency holstering, plus close-quarters defensive shooting and presentation under stress. Heavy emphasis on deliberate dry-fire practice before live fire.
Who This Course Is For:
Students must be competent and safe with a handgun (Practical Pistol 1.0 recommended). This is not a beginner carry class.
Please note: If a student demonstrates unsafe or insufficient proficiency, the instructor will limit participation in advanced live-fire drills for the safety of the group.
Who Should Take This Course?
• New and experienced carriers who want a safer, faster, more repeatable draw
• Concealed carriers who want specialized concealed-draw techniques (IWB/AIWB/tuckable holsters)
• Open carriers who want fast, safe presentation from OWB or duty rigs
• Anyone who wants to make informed holster and carry-setup choices
