Practical Pistol 3.0 at Gatekeeper Defense is the next step for serious defenders who have completed Practical Pistol 1.0 & 2.0 (or equivalent). This advanced, performance-focused course emphasizes precision under pressure, movement and shooting at varied distances, multiple-target engagement, transitions, and realistic scenario work. Classroom instruction is brief — the day is hands-on live fire at a private outdoor range with measurable skill-building drills.

Who This Course Is For:
This is an advanced course. You must be confident, safe, and proficient with your firearm. If you have not trained with Gatekeeper or are unsure of your level, attend Practical Pistol 2.0 first.
Please note: If a student’s skills fall short of course standards, the instructor may limit or pause participation in advanced drills for safety and to preserve the class’s learning pace.

Course Schedule & Requirements
Course Length: 5–6 hours
Location: Orlando, FL (private outdoor range)
Experience Required: Must have completed Practical Pistol 1.0 & 2.0 or be demonstrably equivalent.

What to Bring
✔ Service pistol (no micro-compacts or revolvers for this curriculum)
✔ 3–4 magazines (mag carriers recommended)
✔ 300–350 rounds of FMJ ammunition
✔ Eye & ear protection (we can provide if needed)
✔ Strong belt, holster (OWB/IWB) that fully covers the trigger guard
✔ Appropriate clothing (close-toed shoes, long pants, hat)
✔ Lunch (we will take a break)
