Church Safety Team 2.0 is where training gets real. This 1-day course builds on the 1.0 foundation and introduces the kind of skills every armed protector must master—defending against threats while moving, one handed shooting and reloads under stress, shooting around cover, and coordinated team drills.
Who This Course Is For:
✔️ Students who have completed Church Safety Team 1.0
✔️ Armed safety and security volunteers serving in churches, synagogues, cathedrals, and other houses of worship
✔️ Shooters who are ready for faster pacing, movement drills, and structured challenge
What You’ll Learn:

Shooting while moving back and side to side

Engaging multiple threats with accuracy under time stress

One-handed malfunction clearing and simulated injury drills

Shooting from behind and around cover (barricades, pews, entries)

Introduction to partner movement and communication drills

Team spacing, muzzle discipline, and situational awareness

Cross-fire awareness and simple coordinated engagements

Training for high-accountability environments with non-threats present

What You’ll Need:

Semi-automatic handgun with OWB holster

3–4 magazines
-
Magazine pouches
-
Minimum 350 rounds of factory FMJ ammo (more is preferred)

Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)

Sturdy belt and weather-appropriate gear

Knee pads - optional

Lunch (we will take a lunch break)
