Service Description
Practical Pistol 2.0 at Gatekeeper Defense is designed for serious gun owners looking to train effectively for real-world defensive scenarios. This semi-advanced course goes beyond basic firearm safety and concealed carry training, teaching tactical skills for everyday carry. Taught by USCCA Certified Instructors, this intensive 5-6 hour course features a blend of classroom instruction and high-impact live-fire training at a private outdoor range. You’ll develop proficiency in defensive shooting techniques, including engaging multiple targets, shooting while moving, and navigating shoot/no-shoot situations—all essential for real-world personal defense. Who This Course Is For: This is an intermediate to advanced-level course. You must be proficient and safe with your firearm. If you have never trained with Gatekeeper Defense—or are unsure of your skill level—you must first attend Practical Pistol 1.0 Our goal is to maintain a safe and effective training environment. If you're not confident beyond the fundamentals, please contact us—we’ll help guide you to the best course for your needs. Please note: If a student is found to be below the necessary proficiency level during the course, their participation in more advanced shooting drills will be limited or paused at the instructor’s discretion. This is essential for maintaining the safety of all participants and ensuring the course progresses at an appropriate pace.

Cancellation Policy
Gatekeeper Defense Training – Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Due to limited class sizes and the advance costs required to conduct professional firearms training, the following policy applies to all Gatekeeper Defense Training courses. Booking Commitment When you register for a class, you are reserving a limited training slot. Please confirm your availability before booking. Cancellations Cancellations are not permitted within 45 days of the scheduled class date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made inside the 45-day window. Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the class date are eligible for a refund minus a $25 administrative fee. This fee covers range coordination, instructor scheduling, and preparation costs. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Rescheduling Students may reschedule their enrollment at no charge with written notice provided no later than 72 hours prior to the class date. Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to info@gatekeeperdefense.training Rescheduled classes are subject to availability and must be completed within a reasonable timeframe. Requests made inside 72 hours may not be accommodated except in rare emergency situations. No-Shows Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior written communication will result in forfeiture of all tuition. No refunds or rescheduling will be offered. Weather, Instructor, or Range-Related Cancellations If a class is canceled due to weather, instructor emergency, range closure, or other safety-related issues, students will be rescheduled into a future class date. Minimum Enrollment Gatekeeper Defense Training reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes if minimum enrollment is not met. Students will be notified in advance and placed into the next appropriate session. By booking a class, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
