Reciprocity: Without a CCW, you’re locked to Florida. With it, you can carry legally in over 30 other states.
School Zone Protection: Federal law prohibits unlicensed carriers within 1,000 feet of a school. With a CCW, that restriction doesn’t apply.
Fewer Legal Protections: Without a permit, the laws get complicated fast — especially around vehicle carry and restricted zones.
